The format of our meetings aim to make each one successful for our members |

Our meetings can be described as relaxed but professional and very successful.
The structure of the meeting is as follows:
6:45 - Free Flow Networking
7:15 - Start of structured meeting and inductions of the leadership team
7:20 - Education Slot, 10 minutes of invaluable information on how to improve your prospects of referrals within BNI, delivered by our resident Education Co-ordinator.
7:30 - A chance to review the Business Card Box
7:32 - Each member has the opportunity to educate their fellow members with a 60 second advert for your business
The 60 Second Speech
At the heart of the BNI meeting is the "60 Second Speech" slot. This is each member's opportunity to tell everyone at the meeting all about their business, the kind of leads they are looking for, and anything at all that will help the other members generate business for them.
60 seconds may seem to be the briefest of speeches, but BNI have developed a system to harness the power of this format, and regularly organise free training workshops to allow the members to develop their presentations, introducing techniques such as the memory hook, and effective ways to ensure that the message is remembered.
This system has immense practical benefits outside BNI, where in real-life networking situations, the BNI member is trained to be able to give an instant and concise account of what they do.
As a visitor you will be introduced to the chapter and have the opportunity to explain your business within 30 seconds.
8:05 - Membership Co-ordinators report
8:10 - 10 Minute Speaker
The 10 Minute Speech
Normally around twice a year as a member you will have the opportunity to educate your fellow members with a 10 minute presentation explaining what you do and how you do it as well as more specific information about the kind of referrals you are looking for.
8:20 - Referral passing, this is the part of the meeting that is most important as we go around the table and pass referrals between members.
8:25 - Secretary/Treasurer's report
8:27 - Reality Check, a review of the progress of 2 previous referrals
8:28 - Visitors break away to hold a small meeting with the Visitor Hosts/ Existing Members discuss up and coming events
8:30 - Meeting closes
