Come and Meet the Chapter!

13/05/2010

We are holding a visitor day this Thursday morning for all those people out there who want more business! We are especially interested in trades such as plumbing, electricians etc and IT companies at the moment but really want to meet as many people as possible.

If you would like to join us for breakfast on Thursday at 6.30am, please email tim@copperphoenix.co.uk for more information.

A Happy New Year!

15/01/2010

After a very white start to 2010, the Knight Chapter, despite the cold weather and very slippery conditions were finally able to meet again on 14th January for the usual weekly breakfast meeting.

The Chapter is developing the online presence and social media strategies implemented at the end of 2009 so if you would like to follow us on Twitter see http://twitter.com/BNIKnight or become one of the first on the just launched Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/pages/BNI-Knight-Chapter/148848225854?ref=ts where we hope to keep you updated with news and events as well as this website.

If you would like to join one of our meetings to see what BNI is like (with no pressure to join!) then get in contact and we'll look forward to your company and answering any questions you may have.

Visitors Day:Health & Wellness/Events and Leisure

14/05/2009

After the success of the previous "Trades" visitors day, we are pleased to announce another specific day aimed at "Health & Wellness/Events and Leisure" companies.
It would be great if you could come along and see how BNI works and how it could benefit your business. Whilst you would be welcome to join us any Thursday the meeting of 14th May might be even more beneficial to you; as there will be even more attendees, thus more contacts to be made but the size of the room obviously limits us to a first come first served basis so you would need to confirm your attendance ASAP with me please.

Visitors Day: Business Support

07/05/2009

After the success of the previous “Trades” visitors day, we are pleased to announce another specific day aimed at “Business Support” companies.

It would be great if you could come along and see how BNI works and how it could benefit your business. Whilst you would be welcome to join us any Thursday the meeting of 7 May might be even more beneficial to you; as there will be even more attendees, thus more contacts to be made but the size of the room obviously limits us to a first come first served basis so you would need to confirm your attendance ASAP with me please.

If you could RSVP either way it would be most helpful. On visitorhostco@bni-knight.co.uk

Karting - What a smashing social success!

18/07/2008

You could almost hear the Grand Prix theme tune playing in the back ground as the drivers entered the pits. It was a social event to remember, not least for Martyn's insistence on seat belts being provided for the Karts on Health & Safety grounds! I'm please to say they weren't necessary as all 12 drivers finished the race with only a few needing treatment for damaged reputations :-)

12 drivers left the starting grid in order of their qualifying times but this didn’t reflect the end result with the final top 3 positions being, 1st Chris Allen, 2nd Mark Evans & 3rd Andy Lane, but the unanimous opinion of all driver was one of elation and the need to do it all again, soon!

Less Networking Can Mean More

26/07/2007

In his latest article for Entrepreneur.com, Dr. Misner says that referral networking is more about farming than hunting. An overemphasis on running from one networking event to another looking for new relationships is a waste of time, money and energy that you should be using to develop the relationships you’ve already started. It’s like running around knocking coconuts out of trees, when you should be planting coconut trees for the future

What our members say...

BNI is a unique way of building & training a sales force who are constantly on the look out for new business opportunities for all our members. Coupled with this is an enjoyable networking opportunity over an excellent breakfast. Truly a great way to start every Thursday morning.
